What is SIR?

SIR San Mateo Branch 1 is a nonprofit social club for retired men. Our mission is simple: to enrich retirement through friendship, fun, and lifelong connections.

Unlike many organizations, we don’t focus on fundraising, politics, or charitable causes. Instead, we bring members together through 14 weekly and monthly activities, including pickleball, golf, a book club, wine tasting, technology, cards, hiking, and more. Every activity is open to every member.
