Come play with us
The SIR Cards group is a relaxed, friendly place to play two of the great card games — Cribbage on Thursdays and Hearts on Fridays. Come for one, come for both. There's no sign-up sheet and no partner to line up: just drop in, and we'll get you into a game.
Whether you've played for fifty years or are picking up a deck for the first time in decades, you'll find good company and patient tablemates. The point is the afternoon together as much as the cards.
Never played — or a little rusty?
No problem at all. The two games are quick to learn and take a lifetime to master, and this hub is built to help you feel at home before you ever sit down:
- 1Read How to Play Cribbage or How to Play Hearts — each walks through the deal, the play, and the scoring in plain English.
- 2Cribbage scoring trips up everyone at first. The Cribbage Hand Counter lets you pick a hand and see exactly where every point comes from.
